Chasing the same things the same ways, expecting varied results but all for what gain?
Anxieties keep repeating even in my sleep
No use counting sheep, discomfort runs too deep, wasted prayers to keep them closed all night, no end in sight
"Good God", when will these tired cries suffice?

But I still have several tricks up my sleeve
To finally persuade the devil to sell his soul to me
A worn out trick for another slave
